Englemere DFAS is a member of NADFAS (the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies) the leading arts charity established for furthering knowledge and appreciation of the arts.

  • Based in ASCOT, Berkshire with a thriving and lively membership of 200+.
  • Monthly lecture meetings held on the second Tuesday evening of each month (except August and December).
  • Regular visits to stately homes, museums, exhibitions. In addition an annual guided tour in the UK or abroad.
  • The Lecturers are approved by NADFAS and are of high quality and are experts in their own field.

Carole Petipher is a guide and lecturer on combined history/art tours in France, with over ten years of experience.  She will explore the characters of Napoleon and Josephine using images of a huge collection of their possessions housed in Château de Malmaison.
